What is fine chemical and its feature

The so-called fine chemical products (i.e. fine chemicals) refer to those chemical products with specific application functions, technology intensive, strong merchantability and high added value. Chemical enterprises producing fine chemicals are generally known as fine chemical industry, or fine chemical industry for short.

The research and application fields of fine chemical industry are very broad, and its main characteristics are:
(1) It has specific functional and practical characteristics.
(2) High technology intensity.
(3) Small batch, multi variety.
(4) The production process is complex, the equipment investment is large, and the capital demand is large.
(5) It has the characteristics of strong practicability and commodity, fierce market competition, high sales profit and high added value.

(6) The product cycle is short, the renewal is fast, and the intermittent production process is mostly adopted.
