BI UV-OMC is a strong UVB absorber ideal for water-resistant sunscreen product. It is insoluble in water and has good waterproof property. It can bring about a considerable retardation in the aging of the skin with excellent tolerance and stability. It can provide a smoother moisturizing feeling after use. It is widely used in creams, lotions, foundations, sunscreens and color cosmetic.

Octinoxate applications:

OMC is a strong UVB absorber. It is an oil soluble, colorless, virtually odorless liquid,which remains a liquid at temperatures as low as -10℃ and can be easily incorporated in the oil phase of a sunscreen formulation. OMC boosts the SPF when used in combination with other UV filters. It is ideal for the formulation of water-resistant sunscreen products.  OMC is an excellent solubilizer for crystalline UV absorbers, such as AVB, Diethylhexyl Butamido Triazone, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate and Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine. Sunobel® OMC is approved world-wide in various concentrations.
